12.) List up to three specific things you would do to make Chapel Hill a better place to start and grow a business.

I plan to 1) work to simplify the permitting process so that businesses have a single office to go to for all permitting questions;

2) work to make access to capital easier for businesses seeking to form, renovate, expand, and remain in Chapel Hill through revolving loans and encouraging local reinvestment, and

3) encourage the support of local retail and services businesses through funding marketing efforts and ensuring the town itself buys local whenever possible.
