1. Focus on local entrepreneurs and a local living economy. Carrboro currently has several programs that support local businesses and promote entrepreneurship including the revolving loan program, the energy wise program for residences and local businesses, and job training workshops.

2. Enhance the relationship with the Economic Development Director and local businesses owners particularly through the Economic Sustainability Commission.

3. Promote the arts as an economic development opportunity and bridge the link between the arts and other businesses.
